Malaysia's calendar is a vibrant tapestry of cultural celebrations, traditional performances, and contemporary festivals. From the drum beats of Gawai to the lantern glow of 春节, there's always something happening.

屠妖节
Brickfields（吉隆坡）、小印度（槟城）、全国各地
印度教的光明节。小印度街区点亮油灯，地面绘有 kolam 图案，摊位售卖甜点和纱丽，许多家庭举办开放日。11月8日（星期日）为公共假期，大多数州于11月9日（星期一）补假。
东海岸季风季
吉兰丹、登嘉楼、彭亨海岸
大多数东海岸岛屿（停泊岛、热浪岛、刁曼岛）在11月至2月关闭。此时正适合游览哥打巴鲁的市集、品尝吉兰丹美食，或前往西海岸的兰卡威和槟城。

The biggest celebration in the Muslim calendar. Open houses serve rendang, ketupat, and lemang to all visitors. KL's streets are lit with pelita lamps, and bazaars sell everything from festive clothes to traditional kuih.
